The Houston Airport System abbreviated as HAS, responsible for regulating the airports said that they are starting the facility of free Wi-Fi at Hobby airports as well as at Bush Intercontinental airport in the upcoming year. Airport users can access free Wi-Fi from any terminal at Hobby Airports and at Bush Intercontinental. The Chief technology officer of HAS, “Lisa Kent” also said that, “When people came at Houston airports, they demanded for a free internet access. We are taking this step to fulfill all the demands of our customers so that they can enjoy their travelling experience throughout the journey.” The agency also said that free Wi-Fi will be a major progress over fee-based Wi-Fi. The average speed of the data connection will be around 6 Mbps. This speed is enough to carry a rich streaming video. All people can have access to free Internet as a number of access points were fixed at Hobby airport and Bush intercontinental airport. If customers want to skip advertisements while using internet at HAS, they have to agree all the terms and conditions of HAS network before they connect.
