Domestic First Class:

American Airlines has first class in its all flights, be it domestic mainline or regional. With over 50 seats which are comfortable as 94–106 cm pitch-wise and 48-53 cm width-wise. And the facilities includes free meals & snacks with alcohol beverages.

Premium Economy:

In 2015, Premium Economy class was included in American Airlines for long-haul aircraft which was made available in A350s in 2018. The seats in this class are wider than the main cabin seats with the facility of footrest.

Main Cabin Extra & Main Cabin:

BAGGAGE POLICY:

Just like any other airlines, American Airlines (AA) has certain policies i.e. rules and limits related to the baggage or luggage.

Carry-on Baggage Policies

• TheCarry-on baggage limit should not exceed the size limit of 45 inches (linear) (e. 22 x 14 x 9) including wheels and handles of the bag.
• It should fit the overhead bin or the under the seat in-front of you.
• Also, if you bringing any extra item then it should also fit in the overhead compartment or underneath the seat in-front of you.
• Other essentials likeovercoat, jackets, duty free items, umbrella, diaper bag or blanket are not counted under carry-on baggage And also the assistive devices like walkers, wheelchairs, strollers and crutches are not counted under the carry-on allowance.

Checked-in Baggage Policies:

• So, basically American Airline allows you to carry twostandard bags with the limit of maximum 10 bags but this maximum bags limits is decreased to 5 bags if you are traveling to Mexico, Brazil, South America the Caribbean Central America.
• The dimensions of the bag must not exceed 62 in or 157 cm including(length + width + height).
• The checked-in bags must not exceed the weight limit is 50 lbs or 23 k

Rules for Traveling with Infants:

Kids who are 2 years old are not allowed to travel in their own seats and you need tell the airline that you are going to travel with a kid in your and also there is only one kid allowed under one adult assistance. Also kids lying within the age group of 5-14 years are not allowed to travel without consenting adults. The adults traveling with the infants in their laps must be of at least 15 years or above.

Only one child can be allowed as a lap child per adult. In case, an adult is traveling with more than one infant under the age of 2 years, then a separate seat is required to be purchased for each additional infant.

Rules for Traveling with Minors:

The kids lying under the age group of 5-14 years are considered as minors and they can not travel in the flight which includes any stop in between.

Also, the minors below the age of 5 or equivalent are not at all allowed to travel without any adult assistance. American airlines has strict rules regarding traveling with minors or own their own.

Rules for Traveling with Pets:

In case you want to travel with your pet then American Airlines allows certain breed of dogs and cats to travel with them in the AA aircraft.

• If you are traveling to or from Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean and United States then there is certain fees attached for the carriage of the pet in the passenger cabin i.e.$125 (one way).
• And for animals checked as baggage to and from Mexico, Canada, the Caribbean and United States is $175 (one way)
